Joseph Smith fell from the window on the left when he was shot. Two balls arriving from outside the window and two from the doorway where this photo was taken.

When the cloud is thin and white it is almost impossible to have detail in both the highlights and shadows. We were driving down the street behind the temple and I knew this shot had potential. I hand held several bracketed sets of 5 and blended them using HDR technology. The one side shows the level of detail from the normally exposed single photo.

Robert Scott and Denison Harris attended several secret meetings held by William Law where Law and others plotted to kill Joseph Smith. Following the last meeting where they nearly lost their own lives them met with Joseph Smith and his body guard John Scott (Robert's brother) on the banks of the river. I wonder where the meeting took place?
